The fulfilling adventure of bringing the potential to the actual is a deep rooted joy of mine. This bridge, that connects creativity to practicality, is one I find myself walking on everyday. It is a privilege to apply this passion building furniture and making instruments, gaining inspiration from nature every step of the way.
The imprint indigenous culture has left on me through experiences and travels has motivated me to share this through didgeridoo and percussion. I have been playing these instruments for about 20 years, and as they continue to speak to me, I can gladly share this with you.
Living in Yirkala at the age of 17 and working at Garma has woven the roots of this instrument into my being. Here, I will overview some traditional techniques, and how they can be intermingled in any playing style.
